Elders at the Table
A Community Planning Initiative
Working on behalf of the Indianapolis Retirement Home Fund (IRHF), a Central Indiana Community Foundation
Fund, CAC initiated Elders at the Table (EAT), A Community Planning Initiative in October 2007.
The EAT initiative convened
four work groups to explore the issues and opportunities associated with food and meal programs for older adults in Central
Indiana. After six months of dedicated effort, the work groups offered their recommendations to the IRHF at an Elders at the
Table Round-Up meeting on Tuesday, April 8.
